Can taking the drug Robinul for hyperhidrosis cause boils on the skin?
Q: I have noticed what looks like cystic acne in sporatic areas on my body within the last couple of days. I take Robinul as needed for excessive sweating and I have been in bed sick recently. They are very sore and very red raised areas on my back, buttock, and even on my scalp. Any feedback?
A: Boils are not a documented side effect of Robinul. A rash can be an allergic reaction but what you describe does not sound like a rash.I suggest you contact your doctor to see if the combination of the medication and being in bed might have some sort of corrolation (blocked pores leading to the lesions) or if you have a new issue. Please call your doctor.
Can facial hyperhidrosis (sweating on the face) come from use of moisturizers with sun block?
Q: I seem to sweat profusely with warn weather, activity, and any activity now that my moisurizers contain uva.uvb protection. The condition “facial hyperhidrosis” seems too extreme to be a cause. Dunno, really.
A: I would say wait till it is cooler times, it is still hot out and inside all them time. You could just be hot and sweating. Or trying a different moisturizers, and see if it persists. Good luck, and I hope this helps!Jordan
how does mercury poisoning cause hyperhidrosis ?
Q: please tell me, thanks
A: Mercury makes it so your body can’t break down a set of substances in your body called called “catecholamines.” One such catecholamine is epinephrine, and it’s too much epinephrine that causes the hyperhidrosis (as well as rapid heartbeat, hypersalivation, and a spike in your blood pressure).Hope this helps!
