What causes dizziness during exercise?
Q: I recently experienced dizziness while doing a somewhat strenuous aerobic class which also incorporates weights. What would cause this to happen? I wasn’t dehydrated and don’t have high blood pressure.
A: There are a lot of things that cause dizziness. Here are a few.Ear infections, water in the ears, and ear problems.Anemia, as in low blood count.Low blood sugar. Not enough oxygen being utilized by the body. This could be because you are holding your breath or asthma or many other things. When lifting weight it does put your blood pressure up and strains the heart to a degree. This is good to a degree, if you are in condition for it.My guess is that you are not breathing properly, when lifting the weights, but it could be anything on the above list and a few things that are not on the list.I hope this helps.
What causes dizziness and shakiness?
Q: I’m a sophomore in high school and for the past 3 months I’ve been experiencing dizziness and shakiness when I’m at school. I’ve been tested for diabetes and that came back negative, I’ve also had a MRI scan of my brain and that came back normal. What else causes these symptoms? I’m 16 by the way.
A: Dehydration and low blood sugar possibly. Do you eat well, drink your 8 glasses of water daily and take vitamins? Try this! If it only occurs at school and no where else it could be psychological… which would suggest that you talk to a professional (dr., psychologist, psychiatrist, etc.)Do try taking good care of your body too. Don’t just eat junk foods or sugary stuff and drink lots of fluids. 🙂 (little or no caffeine or energy drinks too.)
What causes dizziness and nausea after smoking a cigarette?
Q: yes I know smoking is bad, and I have no intentions of letting myself get addicted. I’m just curious as to what caused this:I smoked one and got insanely dizzy, and then so nauseous that I had to lay down and not move for nearly an hour. I honestly felt like I was going to die. What in the world happened? I know that can’t be normal.
A: That’s the effect of nicotine, especially if you’re not used to it. Your body is trying to tell you not to smoke, so I hope you will listen to it. I had the same reaction when I took my first drag of cigarette smoke, but was too stupid to heed the warning and became a long-term smoker. It’s very easy to become addicted, even if you have no intention of doing so. So please, make that one nasty cigarette your last one!
