Q: ok here is what is going on my boyfriend is having a major head ache and had a bloody nose last night and just got up he says he feels his pulse through his finger tips and he also says he has some built up pressure in his ears i really don’t know what it could be its still bleeding just not enough to actually come out of his nostril please tell me if this is serious or not and what it could be please.
A: sudden change in temperature, or to much heat..if he feels a pressure in his ears it could be the air pressure is uneven between his outer and middle/inner ear.. get him to breath deeply through his mouth with should help this… same for when your ears “pop”.if it is still bleeding apply an ice pack to the back of the neck.. i don’t think this is anything serious, or as some might have suggested hypertension… could also be the opposite, which is low blood pressure which is my problem and cause of dizziness and terrible blood noses every day.pulsing fingertips is nothing… a lot of people can feel it.Hope this has helped!! =]♥♫♣
What exactly causes a bloody, runny, and stuffy nose?
Q: What happens to your body that causes those things? Why is it when I eat spicy food I get a runny nose? How come sometimes I’ll get bloody noses for no reason?
A: Pretty much, Bloody Noses are caused by irritation or heredity.Someone in your family could have this, where they get it for no reason and passed it to you.Or, you could have allergies like me and have a bloody nose as a allergic reaction to whatever you just touched, smelled, or aten in the past.Another common reason is being to high up in altitude, where theres low pressure of air. Let me explain…If you are on your room floor, you are used to all of the pressure sitting on top of your head from the air and its regular since your there all the time. If you move up in the room lets say you sleep on a bunk bed, and you are laying high up in the air, the pressure is irregular and you start to bleed. Runny noses from spicy foods are just a human reaction to most people. Its cleaning out your system. When a person gets a runny nose after eating certain foods, particularly spicy foods, it’s not likely due to allergies. Instead, these symptoms are likely due to a form of non-allergic rhinitis called gustatory rhinitis. While the symptoms of food allergies can include a runny nose, people who experience gustatory rhinitis do not experience other symptoms such as hives, nausea, or trouble breathing. Just about any kind of food can cause gustatory rhinitis; spicy foods are the most common, including chili peppers, horseradish, black pepper and onion. Most people who experience gustatory rhinitis will have symptoms of clear, thin nasal discharge(the “sniffles”) almost immediately after eating the trigger food. Sneezing and watery eyes may occur, but usually there is no itching of the eyes, nose or mouth. The symptoms usually go away within a few minutes once the person stops eating the trigger food. I hope this answered your question. 🙂
What causes a bloody nose?
Q: can an injury no where near the nose cause it bleed?or is it the weather and a dry nose?
A: I get nose bleeds sometimes, especially with the dry air of the winter. My doctor suggested that Saline Nasal Spray is a great way to keep the nose moisturized. He also suggested that it helps to wash away allergens that may be lingering there…. which will eventually cause me to sneeze and weeze!
