how do i cure myself from household mold sickness?
Q: I have all the symptoms of household mold sickness. How do i cure myself?
A: ditto to that. you may have to pay to get someone in your house to look for mold. (sometimes its under old flooring or in the attick or undeneth tile in the bathroom) this may be contributing to you having mold sickness!Fix leaks and seepage, even if it involves landscaping around basements. Put plastic over dirt in crawlspaces and keep them well ventilated. Use exhaust fans in kitchen and bathroom. Turn off humidifiers if you see condensation on windows. Use dehumidifiers and air conditioners, especially in hot, humid climates. Pay special attention to carpet on concrete floors. Use area rugs that can be lifted and washed. Or install a vapor barrier over the concrete.also see a doc right away!
Sick From Black Mold, What Can I Do?
Q: Okay, I’ve been doing a little research on Black Mold and I found out that if you are exposed to it (My bathroom and Basement is covered it, so I am exposed to it a lot) then you should have these symptoms of black mold sickness:Migranes Sudden FeversNosebleedsEye PainsEventually, DeathAnd I have ALL of these symptoms (except death!) and since I don’t plan on dying any time soon, being that I am only 12, I was wondering what you people on Yahoo could do to help me get rid of the mold. (And if possible, reverse the effects it has put on me and my family)
A: if you are the owner of the property you are responsible to take care of the problem and I know someone here in CA who can send you the chemicals that will rid you of this but if you have a landlord inform him it is his responsibility to make the house habitable and cannot charge rent for a house that is not what you have to do is inform him of the problem in writing and if he does not comply inform the health department they will get him to clean it and handle any medical bills as well and if he threatens you most states have a anti retaliation law on the books that can cost him a lot of money but remember to try for a peaceful settlement first he may not know about the problem
Is mold causing my sickness, and is it dangerous?
Q: Recently I left a cup half filled in my room with liquid. After some 2 weeks I had forgotten to dump it out. My room started to stink and in the cup there was a huge black mushroom like mold/fungus. I took out the cup and aired out my room by opening a window and turning on a fan. I let it run overnight, and now the room is back to normal. I have been sleeping downstairs for personal reasons, but had slept in there 2 nights the past week. Needless to say I have cold/allergy like symptoms for the past several days and was wondering what the cause could be. If it is this mold, is my room still ok since I have taken it out and all.Recently I left a cup half filled in my room with liquid. After some 2 weeks I had forgotten to dump it out. A: If it was contained in the cup and you disposed of it everything should be fine
