Can someone name me all the infections and deseases in a Nosocomial infection?
Q: i need this information for my biology research but there is too much information abt it ..i just need the names of all the diseases and the infection and when did they discover it HELP :'(
A: I don’t mean to be rude…but what you are asking for would require a novel. There are soooo many nosocomial infections caused by soooo many different bacteria discovered by sooo many different people. Your best bet would be to google it and take the top ten or so and discuss those. Oh and apologize if I’m wrong but I think you might be a little confused about what a nosocomial infection is. It is any type of infection that is acquired in a hospital.
What is the idea behind using probiotics to treat nosocomial infections?
Q:
A: A nosocomial infection is one caused by a germ which is relatively inoffensive that occurs because the body’s normal defences have been weakened by another cause, possibly another infection. These germs are normally suppressed by the resident bacterial flora. The idea behind the probiotics is to replace the missing resident flora. There are, of course, many other causes of susceptibility to unusual organisms, so an old cynic like me would say that the best reason for taking probiotics was so that you didn’t have to carry such a heavy wallet around.
