The blood test and any follow-up tests are important for an actual diagnosis and so you don’t waste your time and money going gluten free if it won’t actually help the underlying reasons for your problems. If your Celiac test comes back negative make sure you have any other tests that a good gastroenterologist recommends for you to see what is causing your symptoms. If you get a dismissive attitude, keep going and find a doctor who will listen.
