The CDC recommend the removal of any mold that causes respiratory problems to people subject to those problems and not only black mold. They recommend washing the rough surfaces with soap and water and rinsing with one cup of ordinary bleach to five gallons of water. Then a final rinse with water. Then they recommend dropping the humidity in the area so mold wont form again. Where all these scare tactics are coming from on Black Mold is probably from people liking to spread scares and people benefiting from cleaning surfaces is about all i can tell.

A: There is probably a pipe leaking. I would get it checked out right away. It can get into the walls, ceiling etc and the mold can spread.
