Q: Is there a way to fight fever or flu without taking medications? It would be nice to know some home remedies for them.
A: there are things other than ibuprofins that can definitely HELP take a flu fever away:1. lots of liquids!!! you need to drink fluids after fluids to flush away the bacteria causing you to get sick. Juices are ideal! 5-6 cups of natural (not 100% sugar suff) orange, apple, cranberry, etc. juice. Drink at least 6 cups (or 2 bottles) of water everyday.2. sleep. dont go online or watch tv all day. sleep A LOT and try reading. reading really relaxes the mind and makes you a little tired so you can rest.3. alternating cold and warm baths. take 2 baths a day (you dont have to wash your hair or anything, this is just for your body temperature). take a cold bath in the afternoon. the colder the better, but dont freeze yourself. then, take a hot bath at night or first thing in the morning. the baths shoulnt be over 30 minutes long.4. food wise, eat mild, light foods. you may feel too sick to eat a large meal due to vomiting or other things, so try eating some light rice and plain yogurt on top. crackers and fruits always work! if you do happen to get really hungry though, either try soups or (if you hate soup or something) light pasta or potato french fries. stay away from fast food.well hope these helped!!! 🙂

A: Drink copius amounts of water. ALWAYS. Water helps flush any bugs in your lymphatic system. When you feel the full blow of being sick, stay active. Staying active helps your body drain your lymph nodes. Water and activity. Which is why most americans stay sick, because they rest and feel sorry for themselves.good luck
