A: I have had my tongue pierced since Oct. 08. And my swelling went down in less than 2 weeks.The first few days your tongue is going to swell more and more, your body hasnt had time to take it all in just yet. I just took aspirin everyday and ate ice..ALOT. Lol. Its not gonna go away just over night. Some foreign object just went right through your muscle lol your body needs to time to adjust to something new. Only things that I did was the ice and medicine too. And something else for you to think about, try chewing gum alot so you get use to eating with a tongue piercing, it helps!P.S. if your tongue has a little bit of white pus coming out of it now or in the future, your are okay! A: the ehat is for the pain… but yes the icing is only good for the first week or so.. then heat should be used to control pain and make moving the body part easier on you.

A: wow i had the samw problem when i got mine done like 2 months ago the first day it was ok but the next day it got huge and it bugged me soo bad cuz just like you said the lip was so swollen that the lip ring was like tight and pushing the inside of my lip well for me the ice did work not alot tho but it did and just keep eating cold stuff and puttin ice on it try not to move it around too much because that will hurt it just leave it alone and the ibuprofen should work for the swelling and a lil with the pain
