How long does it take pimples/zits to go away if you dont usually get them?
Q: I rarely break out and i broke out this month before i start my period i rarely even get one pimple every couple months and i broke out with like 4 this month , how long does it usually take them to go away , i been treating it with pro active proxide and of course washing your face , i dont want to pop them cuz i heard that makes it worse, any idea how long it takes?
A: 1-2 weeks I highly doubt. Im just like you. I rarley break out. But I use a acnee free wash, toner, and acne fighting moistrizer everyday and within 3-4 days your pimples should be completely gone, if not the size and redness should have extremey decreased. It should take a week at the longest. But defiantely don’t pop. You probably heard it a hundred times, but again it does leave scaring. So even though tempting, let them heal. Your doing everything right.
what exactly are shin splints? and about how long does it take for them to go away?
Q: Okay so i found out that the pain in my leg was shin splints. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is, like i know why i got it and next time i play softball i have to stretch better and everything, but idk what it is. Like what goes on in my leg to make it hurt so bad?and i cant take the whole resting it thing, How long does it usually take for shin splints to go away or feel better.
A: Usually with shin splints, the muscle is pulling away from your shin bone, causing it to hurt and feel like something’s pulling back at your skin, which gradually gets worse and worse.A cause for shin splints that most people don’t think of can come for you soleus- this is the area right under your calf muscle, around your achilles tendon. This muscle can be tight, weak, or not stretched out enough. It helps to see a PT who can massage it out (but it’ll hurt like CRAZY). You can also try to stretch it out yourself. Find a wall, and put both hands on the wall, with your feet 2-3 feet away. Keep one leg in front, both legs bent, heels on the ground. You should feel a stretch in the soleus- the area I mentioned above. Hold that for 10 seconds and then switch. Also, you can spell out the alphabet with your foot- just point your toes in the shape of each letter for both feet. If you’re doing it correctly, you should be able to feel it by the time you get to letter J or so. After you stretch, you can start icing. Ice your shins up and down, but also ice your soleus. 15 minutes off, 15 minutes long, for how ever many repetitions you want to do. It’s important to stretch, then ice. Sometimes, shin splints just don’t go away. My track coach has had them all through her high school and college season. All she could do was keep on stretching and strengthing her leg muscles and icing.
How long does it take for hemorrhoids to go away?
Q: I’ve had hemorrhoids for almost two months it seems as if they have only gone down a little. Do they take this long to go away? I’ve also been eating spicy foods does that flare them up as well?
A: Unfortunatly, the never go away, they just seem to go in hiding for a while. If you get on a regualar bathroom schedule, and keep the area very clean (not harsh soaps or wiping hard) then they will subside for a while. They may not come back for years until you have a flareup again.Spicy foods can cause them to accacerbate drink lots of water and wipe with baby wipes or towellettes. Take sits baths
