Q: So yesterday morning I woke up with a 39 degree fever and went to the Docs. She listened to my symptoms and said it was probably the swine flu. She didn’t swab me though, because there were too many people getting it and not all of them were serious enough to be swabbed. So she gave me Tamiflu and told me to take Advil and Tylenol every 4 hours in alternation along with 2 doses of Tamiflu everyday. In addition I slept and drank water the entire day.By yesterday evening my fever was down to 37.5.This morning I wake up and my fever is gone.My head doesn’t hurt, and the only thing that’s bothering me slightly is my throat. I do cough occasionally (ie. maybe once every half hour)Was that too fast?I mean normally I recover from the flu in 2 days as well w/o medication. But I thought the Swine Flu would take a lot longer to go away.
