I don’t think that breathing problems are an official reason to skip the flu vaccine. However, if you say you are allergic to eggs, they can’t make you get the flu vaccine. Edvado, I won’t feel comfortable being around a health care worker …

Are these symptoms of the swine flu?
Q: I’ve got:Sore throat.Fevers.Rash.Random aches in random places.Head aches.Use the bathroom a lot.Random pukey feelings.Problems breathing when I move for certain amounts of time.Constant cough.Lots of sneezing.Have been like this for a week, I think.
A: I have a book/leaflet on swine flu.So i will write out some of the information it says in it for you. Some of the symptoms are studden onset of fever, cough or shortness or breath. Other symptoms can include headace, sore throat, tiredness, aching muscles, chills, sneezing, runny nose or loss of appetite. How does swine flu spread?Flu viruses are made up of tiny particles that can be spread through droplets that come out of your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze. When you cough or sneeze without covering your nose and mouth with a tissue, these droplets can spread and others will be at risk of breathing them in.If you cough or sneeze into your hand, those droplets and the germs in them are then easily spread from your hand to any hard surfaces that you touch, and they can live on those surfaces for some time. Everyday items such as door handles, computer keyboards, mobiles and ordinary phones and the TV remote control are all common surfaces where flu viruses can be found. If other people touch these surfaces and then touth their faces, the germs can enter their systems and they can become infected. That’s how all cold and flu viruses, including swine flu, are passed on from person to person. What can i do to protect myself and others against flu?The best thing you can do to protect yourself is to follow good Hygiene practices. These will help to slow the spread of the virus and will be the single most effective thing you can do to protect yourself and others from the infection. When you cough or sneeze it is especially important to follow the rules of good hygiene to prevent the spread of germs.- Always carry tissues.- Use clean tissues to cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze.- Bin the tissue after one use.- Wash your hands with soap and hot water or a sanitiser gel often. If your worried please ring the swine flu number.Hope i helped =]
swine flu symptoms…?
Q: I’m 18 and I haven’t been feeling so well lately. For the past couple of days, I’ve felt a little nauseous and I did have diarrhea once. I’ve also had a very slight sore throat and I’ve felt the urge to cough — I haven’t really, but I still feel the urge to do so. I’ve had headaches too, but nothing that will keep me away from daily activities. Finally, I had a VERY low fever last night — 99.5; my usual body temperature is somewhere around 97.9-98.1. Finally, I’ve had a little bit of a runny nose and I’ve occasionally had trouble breathing (but nothing severe at all)Again, I want to stress that these symptoms that I’m experiencing are by no means severe — they’re very mild. Plus, I do have pre-existing conditions. I had heart surgery for a mitral valve repair when I was 6, but everything is great with that; I have hyperthyroidism and possible migraines/an inner ear problem (I’ll be getting more tests to determine next week); and I do tend to suffer from seasonal allergies, perhaps explaining my difficulty breathing. Usually the difficulty breathing is when I first lay down at night, almost like there’s a lot of mucus in my chest or something. should I be concerned? I do live in Massachusetts, but I’m not near Lowell, where the two swine flu cases were confirmed. I am in college and I know at least one person in one of my classes went to Cancun over spring break. I have no idea who it is, but I do know I don’t sit anywhere near him (it’s a lecture hall of 150.) I also wash my hands all the time.
A: i would wait to see if your symptoms increase, then maybe i would get checked out. if it’s just mild like you say, it could just be a seasonal flu. But there is medication that works and it’s called Tamiflu.
Is it swine flu???????????????
Q: Today i’m feeling some breathing difficulty…without any other symptoms of swine flu.So am i having swine flu? or breathing difficulty will associate with some other symptoms of swine flu?Actually i had a history of breathing difficulty 4 yrs back..And it was Anxiety with Gas trite problem.Tomorrow I hav an appointment with doc…Till then i’m really worried..Please suggest something.
A: I don’t think its swine flu.Because swine flu associate with fever. As you don’t mentioned abt fever. Thn i don’t think its a swine flu. And breathing difficulty is a main factor of anxiety. I have this problem for 2 yrs. when ever i feel that i have a headache then i think abt brain cancer..which makes my situation worse and i feel breathing difficulty. So please be relax and if possible do some yoga. It will definitely help..for the safer side just go to your doc..
