When I started checking out food for my dad, I came across Weight Watchers frozen dinners. I was not real keen on trying them, because I have eaten diet food before, and it tasted like cardboard. Well, I bought a few, in different varieties. I was like a child whose mother was making them eat their vegetables. I really did not want to try it. The picture on the front of the box was yummy looking, but so were the cardboard dinners. I tried the Three Cheese Ziti Marinara, I could not believe my mouth. That is the best I have ever eaten. I had no problem eating that food, but would the others be good too? Knowing my luck, I got the one that actually had 2000 calories, but I found out, that is how good it is. Next I tried Chicken Enchiladas Suiza, another happy moment. Most diet Mexican food is dry and really nasty. This is moist and creamy. It makes you want to have Mexican everyday. Santa Fe Rice and Beans was next on my list and again, it was magic. I am a cheese freak and this did not disappoint me. I live in a small town, so the variety is not what it would be, if I did not live in Mayberry. I will take what I can get, because they are a great surprise and treat for those of us who need to watch our weight. Check out their website, They have Classic Favorites, Bistro Selections, Artisan Creations, Fruit Inspirations, and Satisfying Selections. There are so many varieties in these 5 selections, it is not to be believed. Just about any kind of food you would enjoy. Turkey, Chicken, Steak, Roast Beef, Meatloaf. They have Chinese inspired food, Flatbreads, Pizza, Italian inspired. They even have breakfast! French Toast and Turkey Sausage, Cheesy Scramble with Hash Browns, and 6 more varieties. They also have some make-you-slap-yourself desserts. They have snacks, my mom loves the cheeseburgers, along with the mini pizzas. I promise, these are best low calorie dinners you will ever taste. I would eat them even if I did not need to. One of the best side advantages of these dinners, no dishes to wash!!!!!!
