Waxing Apocalyptic is the Best Vampire Chronicle Since Bram Stoker’s Dracula

The author of a new blog called Waxing Apocalyptic has been creating quite a stir among readers of vampire stories. Although this blog has only recently been published, the stats are racking up quick and it is easy to see why. “Sources Unknown”, the blog’s owner began with a simple post of what types of apocalyptic possibilities threaten the human race, but what spins out is a thrilling read about vampires becoming the next big apocalyptic threat.

Waxing Apocalyptic, found at http://www.waxingapocalyptic.blogspot.com, is told through the snippets of informants that are in contact with the author concerning the Bevitori Anima, a group of super-intelligent vampires that have developed the ultimate synthetic human blood that is so close to the real McCoy that vampires can thrive on it without the need to turn more humans into vampires like themselves. But the Bevitori Anima has a plan to put a new leader in place that is driven by power and greed, and wishes to anhiliate the human race, thus driving sales of their new synthetic through the roof. As the human race is turned into vampires, creating a lower supply of humans to feed off of, the need for synthetics becomes a greater one.

The author’s informants, an unnamed source who signs his correspondence as “D” has been invited to a meeting to recruit new members as an iniate. D has not been heard from since a couple of hours before that meeting. A young eleven-year vampire, D feeds often thus making him a prime candidate for membership in the Bevitori to become an advocate, a pusher if you will.

Lillian, an informant that the author met at a costuming convention, speaks in riddles that the reader must decipher in order to grasp the “research” that the author is performing along the way. Sources Unknown even asks readers of the blog for their participation, their help if you will, to figure out the riddles. As a bonus to readers, the author, a female, shows an uncharacteristic attraction for Lillian.

The third informant, Jonathon, resides in the suburbs of Chicago. Although little has come from him in the story thus far, his background is interesting and the story plays out that Jonathon is one of the only video-recorded footage of being turned.

It is a must read for vampire fans everywhere, but since it is written blog-style, a new reader must go to the first post and work their way forward. It is detailed and juicy, beautifully written with great detail and description. Check out this interesting piece of entertaiment at http://www.waxingapocalyptic.blogspot.com.
