Top 5 iPhone Apps of 2011!

There is nothing more annoying than to pay a dollar for an app and then realize that even though it was just a dollar, you now got a crappy app and a dollar less in your wallet, so here are the top 5 apps that are so worth the money.

1. Camera+ ($0.99)
If you like photography Camera+ is possibly one of the best photo apps out there right now for only $0.99, it improves the aspect of the built in camera by brightening up your photos, it stabilizes your shot to get rid of the blurry picture effect, it crops your pictures and you can add your personal touch and quickly be able to share your photos on Facebook, Twitter and Emails.

2. ESPN ScoreCenter (Free)
This app is not new but it’s still on the top most downloadable apps, mainly because of how easy it is to use when creating your TEAMS, you follow the teams and sports you like, it gives you a schedule of games coming up and notifications when the game starts, each half and final scores and updates, it also keeps you on top of live events and news on the dozens of leagues. very sports fan friendly app.

3. Words with Friends & Hanging with Friends ($1.99 or Free)
These are two separate apps, but i count them as one because they are very similar but very entertaining, you can spend hours playing these two games, Words with Friends is pretty much like Scrabble, the difference is that you choose who you want to play with, either a friend from the office or a random person online. Hanging with Friends is like hang man, but uses the same method as Scrabble, it gives you certain amount of letters and you have to make a word and then have your opponent guess the word. The Free version and the $1.99 version are the exact same games, the only difference is there are no ads, the ads only show after every time you have entered a word, if you find that annoying then go ahead and pay the $1.99 but is not something I personally encourage you to do because the ads are really not that big of a deal.

4. Fantasy Football Monster ’11 ($2.99)
For an app is a bit on the “pricey” side, but if you like sports and you have a fantasy league this is the app for you and you will enjoy the heck out of those $3. You can add or drop players, look at match ups, view standings, read and write on the message boards, check players news. everything is very easy to use, and the best part, you don’t have to use multiple apps to manage your teams, you can do it all in this app.

5. Shop Savvy (Free)
I use this app on the regular, specially when I am doubting if I should buy an item in a particular store or online, this is great for buying appliances, DVDs, electronics and stuff that you want but don’t really need at the moment, by scanning the item’s barcode it will show you the nearest places you can get it from, the prices and if you can find a better deal online or at the nearest store. its a very neat app, easy to use and it’s free, so you have nothing to lose.
