The Occupiers–Is This Working?

Sometimes one wakes up in the morning and thinks–where is this world going? So, parks and streets are flooded with discontented people expressing their rights of freedom of speech and action. This is costing the taxpayer many dollars for police to keep down fights and damages. Not to mention the condition of parks after the occupiers have graced their space.

In the past many things have been accomplished by people speaking out. There seems to be one ingredient missing. The occupiers need a leader or spokesperson. Chaos and confusion is just keeping reporters busy with the current daily news. As we know there are many people who benefit from the banks, large corporations and government agencies.

Who are the occupiers? Are they homeless people looking for a place to congregate or just people who are suffering today from the terrible economy we are living in. Many people have managed to weather the storm for a short period of time and now are losing their homes and often don’t have enough food on the table. There are many reasons to rebel today.

Why don’t people start a march instead? Why don’t they bombard the president with hundreds of letters and emails? Why aren’t there more viral emails sent out on a daily basis? Why don’t people boycott the banks in large numbers? This is a team effort and there is more than one way to get your word heard.
