Stop & Shop Pear Tomatoes

A couple of nights ago, I cooked a great dinner of shells pasta, Italian sausage, pork chops and green beans. The red sauce that I made for the pasta utilized a can of Stop & Shop Pear Tomatoes that my Father gave to me more than a year ago. The sauce was so good, it has inspired me to write a review of the pear tomatoes.

Presented here, in an effort to assist the consumer, is an article which reviews and examines Stop & Shop Pear Tomatoes.

These delightful canned pear tomatoes are soft but not mushy in texture and for the most part, they still hold their shape. Most of the tomatoes are whole and intact, but some are slightly split apart. The tomatoes are packed in a good amount of tomato juice which contains several pieces of fresh basil.
