SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ Mp3 Player

The SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ mp3 player has a 2.4″ QVGA LCD screen capable of 320×240 resolution and 30fps. It can play music, listen to the radio through a digital FM tuner, watch videos, and view photos. The rechargeable battery can handle up to 24 hours of audio or 5 hours of video on a single charge. It uses a micro USB 2.0 port for connecting to a computer and syncing playlists and files, plus it has a micro SDTM and micro SDHCTM slot in which you can expand the memory of the Fuze+ or insert a slotRADIO or slotMUSIC card. It has capacitive touch controls which means there are no buttons. When you purchase a Fuze+ it comes with the mp3 player, a micro USB cable, earphones, a quick start guide, and a software CD for Rhapsody.

There are three hard drive sizes to choose from: 4 ($79.99), 8 ($89.99), and 16 ($119.99) gigabytes. To put it into perspective, 4GB is roughly 1000 songs, 2400 photos, or 12 videos. 8GB is about 2000 songs, 4800 photos, or 24 videos. As for 16GB it is generally 4000 songs, 9600 photos, or 48 videos. There are several colors to choose from as well, but not all of these come in every hard drive size. The purple model only comes in 8GB, the red comes in 4GB, the white in 8GB, blue in 4 or 8GB. The black model comes in all 3 hard drive sizes.

When you try to upload music, movies, or photos to the SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ please make sure the files are in the right format. Audio files must be one of the following type: mp3, WMA, Secure WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, AAC, Audible, or podcast. Video files must be one of: MPEG-4, H.264, WMV, or Flip Video formats. As for photographs they must be either JPEG or BMP. The only system requirements of the Fuze+ is that you have Windows XP SP2 or above, Mac OSX 10.3 or better, Linux, and Windows Media Player 10 or better.
