Review: EOS Lavender Jasmine Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream

One of my favorite shaving creams to use is EOS Lavender Jasmine Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream. It is one of my favorites because it has an uplifting floral scent that isn’t to strong and it contains natural nourishing ingredients that help soften up my skin as I shave. In addition, this shaving cream can be used on wet skin or dry.

The EOS Lavender Jasmine Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream comes in a 7 fluid ounce bottle that has a hand pump so it is easier to get the shaving cream out of when you need to shave in the shower. The shaving cream isn’t a foaming shaving cream like most shaving cream brands. Instead, this shaving cream is more like a creamy lotion with a slight lavender color to it and a sweet florally lavender jasmine scent that isn’t over powering. The natural nourishing ingredients in this shaving cream are vitamins C and E, oat extracts, shea butter and aloe. Now there are some unnatural and harsh ingredients in this shaving cream such as parabens, colorings and preservatives for those of you who are concerned about what exactly is in this shaving cream product. Overall, the shaving cream is reasonably priced and if you use this shaving cream wisely it does go along ways, but for those of you with dry skin you may find you have to apply this shaving cream thick and end up going through this bottle of shaving cream way to fast.

The way I find best to use the lavender jasmine shaving cream is by rinsing my legs down in warm water for about 5 minutes to really help dampen, warm and soften up my skin. Then I take a small handful of the shaving cream with my hands and apply a nice thin even layer onto my legs. When applying the shaving cream you will notice it isn’t greasy or oily with a heavy feel to it. Instead, the shaving cream is light, yet moisturizing to the skin. Now, once the shaving cream is on my legs I allow it to stay on for about 2 minutes to help soften up the hair shafts and than I take my razor and shave my legs. After shaving, I simply rinse my legs down with warm water and pat my legs dry. This shaving cream does leave my legs feeling silky smooth without nicks, which is nice. However, I do find myself applying a moisturizing lotion after shaving because my skin tends to get dried out very easily.

I would definitely recommend the EOS Lavender jasmine Ultra Moisturizing Shaving Cream to any woman or teenage girl to use for shaving their legs safely because it works well for me. However, I do not think this is a fantastic shaving cream for those of you with irritated dry skin because it does contain fragrance in it. Otherwise, I do hope those of you who try this lavender jasmine shaving cream enjoys the way it protects and nourishes your skin while shaving.
