NWOBH Heavy Metal

Beginning in the late Seventies and into the 1980’s a new genre of heavy metal was rising, New Wave of Britsh Heavy Metal. Of course a lot of the metal bands that have been involved had been Britian. The declining reputation of heavy metal and bands like Black Sabbath sparked the beginning of NWOBHM. This was the beginning of maximum heavy metal that we see right now, fast guitar solos and fast beats. Unlike the metal the preceded and followed it, NWOBHM adopted a “tougher” image and extra aggressive sound. The look that adopted the NWOBHM was the typical heavy metal look.
