NBA Second Half

The Miami Heat win the NBA finals!

That should be all I need to write, for my second half of the NBA season- in review. It makes me think, what is there really to even talk about sense we all know as NBA fans who will win the NBA finals this year. I guess you can say that KD and the OK-City Thunder have the best chance to beat the Heat. But, I don’t, and I know for a fact that if that is the NBA finals matchup, the series won’t extend more than 5 games. There is no way this Heat team loses this year. No Way! Right? Common, help me out if I am wrong.

The biggest thing that bothers me this year, other than Steve Nash still in a Phoenix Suns uniform, is Dwight Howard still in an Orlando Magic uniform. I don’t see a reason why Orlando would even keep this guy anymore. After going through an awkward first half of a season such as this last half of this season, just trade him, now! Trade for Brook Lopez. Trade for Andrew Bynum. Just trade Howard for any other center out there that can give you 15-12 a game, and would be happy in being 23-11 this season, as they are right now. He is a freaking NBA center that will never do anything more than rebound and dunk the ball. Howard is not a good shooter, not a good passer, not a good free-throw shooter, and is a follower. He is a follower like Carmello Anthony and LeBron James, who is looking to go to another team that wouldn’t win a title in any season ahead within the next five or six years, including: New Jersey, L.A., Golden State (I like Golden State, a lot, just don’t get rid of Ellis.), and Boston. If Howard would like to win a title, soon, then stay put, because the pieces will come. Like Ellis or even Steve Nash.

The team that really chaps my hide would be the Portland Trailblazers. Now, I understand the Minnesota Timberwolves performing at a below .500 record, but the Trailblazers? No way. They should be at least a 5th seed this season. That team is stacked, more than the Clippers, and even Houston. I thought that Crawford could handle being the point guard, and able to keep this team in pace with the west. I thought wrong. Please, Portland, just give up some money and some one for Nash, so you can last until the second round this year in the playoffs.

A Sit Down Interview: With Ricky Martin

I visited with Ricky… shortly. After being asked to leave the premises of his Seattle, Washington home, when he realized I wasn’t the male-order bride from Mississippi that he was waiting for, he was angry and wished not to be interviewed. So that leaves me with no sit down interview for this NBA Season in Review III.
