Natasha Bedingfield’s Exclusive Performance at the Grove

It’s always easy to tell when an invite only event or exclusive launch is happening in L.A., there’s usually some type of velvet rope involved – no matter what time of day it is. Last Tuesday, October 11th at 6pm it was no exception, as Natasha Bedingfield gave a private performance to celebrate the launch of New Citi Executive/ AAdvantage ® World Elite™ MasterCard®. In a cordoned off area of The Grove , the concept was to recreate the Admirals Club ® Lounge (with a twist) filled with wine tastings, delicious snacks, makeovers and massage booths. The complimentary perks were there to help recreate the luxurious experience of the elite traveller.

In attendance were ‘Top Chef’s’ Candice Kumai and host of Lifetime’s ‘Cook Yourself Thin’, with her delectable donuts, crab cakes and ‘Pretty Delicious’ book on hand. Her healthy, lean, guilt free snacks created quite a buzz with the crowd.

Ken Chase (wine consultant) hosted tastings from an award-winning selection of wines. The viticulturist provided something for every palate, from refreshing Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio to a warm Malbec and Pellegrini. And to make all the ladies feel as fabulous on the outside as they no doubt were feeling on the inside, were hair stylists of Warren-Tricomi Salon. With esteemed celebrity colorist Kaz Amor (who has worked with the locks of Lauren Conrad and Prince) eager to share beauty tips, styling tricks and free makeovers.

Nothing could have finished off the evening more perfectly than the stunning Natasha Bedingfield, serenading the audience under the starry, moonlit, sky. Accompanied by only one acoustic guitarist and a drummer, she gave a flawless and “stripped down” rendition of some of her most popular hits. A favorite with the guests, the gracious British singer gave an impromptu “meet and greet”, as well as a signed “CD giveaway” of her album ‘Strip Me’.
