Marry Me Jon an Aspiring Female Writer Proposes to the Man of Her Dreams

I married my best friend, Aaron Townsend on April 30, 1996. In 1999 our daughter, Anna Marie Townsend was born. Anna is the best thing we have ever done. She is smart, funny, intelligent and beautiful. She lights up the world and makes everyone around her feel loved and cared for. She is a genuine pure spirit and blessing.

Years passed and I took care of elderly relatives full time. I also came down with agoraphobia and we were not able to work out our differences so divorced after 20 years.

In the years following our divorce I dated many guys. Some were awesome like my friend Steve. He was a musician, warm, friendly, caring and made my daughter laugh doing impersonations. There was Jason. Jason was an exercise rider, who could dance, made me feel special, worked hard and wanted to have children. Jason is better looking than Brad Pitt. Then there were lunatics I didn’t date ever. Stalkers like Dave, the guy the police removed from our shed numerous times who would never leave our property. What all these guys had in common was they asked me to marry them. What else they had in common was that I said NO. I did not in any way want to spend my life with them.

I spent a great deal of time with my friend Jon T. Schmidt. I met him in December of 2011. Jon was beautiful and was like an adonis. My body ached anytime I was around him. The more time I spent getting to know Jon the more I liked him. His heart and soul were 100x more attractive then his looks. Jon was awesome. He was smart, funny, industrious, hard working. Jon had a great personality. Jon made me laugh. Jon held my hand at the doctor. Jon held my daughter’s hand at her doctor and took her to parties and dance lessons. Jon provided us food, shelter and transportation. Jon bought us lollipops. Jon took me swimming in the river, danced with me at home, walked with me in the woods, took me to concerts. Jon bought me lollipops, dresses and jewelry. Jon looked out for my friends and was good to my Mom and daughter. Jon made me feel loved and special everyday. Jon wrote a funny screenplay with me called Marry Me for Charlie Matthau. Jon made my soul so so happy. So I asked him. I asked him to marry me everyday. I asked in our home, in the truck, at romantic places. I asked online at www.marrymejon.com

So once he was sleepy (because it was 453 am) and agreed. No date was set because Jon thinks the guy should ask. That is fine with me but he needs to. Otherwise I will keep asking because I believe in going after what I want in my life so I do.
