Libra Children

Children born between 23rd September and 22nd October are likely to have the Sun in Libra. Although a personal horoscope drawn up from their exact time and date of birth will give a more comprehensive personality analysis, the Sun Sign can give a general impression of the Libran child’s outlook and behaviour.

Friendly, charming and creative sum up the first impression on meeting a Libran child. These children will love company and prefer to have people around them to spending a lot of time on their own. Some kids will keep themselves occupied for hours when left to their own devices but Librans would just pine away! They need the companionship of their siblings, friends, family to feel truly happy.

The reason Libran children don’t particularly enjoy being alone is because Libra is the seventh house of the Zodiac which represents togetherness, partnerships, sharing and caring. Libra understands the benefits of sharing and they will happily let other children play with their toys. The symbol for their sign is the balance or the scales. This gives them their well known ability of seeing both sides of an issue. They can be very clever too and will use this ability to play one parent off against the other, in the most subtle fashion, of course!

Libra is in the middle of the signs of the zodiac. The Sun crosses the equator at the seventh sign which is Libra and changes from the northern to the southern hemisphere. Children born under the sign Libra tend to swing from one mood to another: happy, easy-going and easy to please one moment then when the pendulum swings to the other end of the scale, they can be sulky, petulant and moody. Their low moods rarely last long and it is not difficult to lift a Libran’s spirits. A few encouraging words, a hug and a little extra attention is usually all it takes to bring a smile back to their faces.

Librans love their play-time especially if it includes craft work and anything creative. They enjoy their food but self-indulgence could be a problem as they grow older. They prefer indoor activities to being outside but it might be worth it for parents to encourage Libra to take up a fun physical pastime or two.
