Intro to a Book yet to Be

(Prologue)

Countless thoughts plague the minds of many and regardless of all the ways we seek to ease our mind, we never escape the choices we have made. Alas with every new day so shall come a new set of choices. Contained within all these decisions is a uniqueness that is the very origin of originality. This story is about a man who thought often and thought deep and never thought to wonder why.

(Chapter 1)

Smokey Jones was a unique kind of guy. This man questioned all that was questionable and was never one to accept the limitations of possibility. He like to run nothing made him feel more free. Feeling that wind around him was an awesome feeling he at times misses. Smokey loved his life but he did not love everything about it. As we know none of us are perfect and imperfections are hard to take when you spend so much time analyzing everything. Smokey believed that he could produce or invent something that could benefit all society and possibly all the world. He never knew how he would do it but he never doubted that he could. In his eyes was an honesty that was undeniable. He despised evil and tried to steer clear of it at every turn but this world has a funny way of disguising wickedness. Smokey was a regular user of the cannabis. He never understood why it was illegal, as it has attributed to no fatalities. Very unlike many of the substances currently regulated and taxed. He tried to spread his message but the fact that it was already illegal always seemed to win the argument before it began. All the same he continued to take tokes here and there and never felt bad for doing it. He felt more relaxed and that didn’t seem like a crime to him. Smokey loves expressing himself he saw the value that art held in a world focused on material things. Everything we have came from a design and every design came from an artist. Smokey didn’t mind money but he never felt the need to have it either. Smokey saw nothing wrong in being detached from the root of all evil. He never really had much but he got by and he saw first hand just how powerful things like love and peace are when money isn’t the main focus.

(Chapter 2)

Smokey was a hopeless romantic. The problem was that to him it seemed way to hopeless. He had loved before and loved strong but alas the love went astray. This changed Smokey forever tho he tried and tried to remember what it was like before being hurt in such a way. He never looked at love the same again. Maybe because it still eludes him to this day or maybe because it seems like there is less and less of it around him. Smokey has a kid, this beautiful boy reminded him of himself so much, it made him want to be a better person. Once again smokey found himself in a dilemma because as hard as he tried to be good this world seemed to be degrading into something too evil to relate to. He saw the corruption steal the power from those who should rightfully have it. He saw the rights of his own placed in handcuffs and locked away. He saw the shadows fall on our darkest day and to this day he has resented the fear that it created. Control is an illusion, you have no control unless you have full control and man will never be in full control. Unfortunately some of us cannot live with that and unfortunately that makes it hard for some of us to live. Still life is what you make it and Smokey was intent on making a better life for him and his son. There can be no wonders of the world until one first wonders.
