How to Get Rid of Under Eye Dark Circles With Mint

Are you met by a pair of dark under eye circles when you look at yourself in the mirror every morning? Are you looking for a natural way to get rid of those dark under eye circles once and for all? Do you strive to have glowing skin, and brighten your eye area, without makeup?

Well good news, there’s a natural way to banish those dark circles, and it is probably already in your garden or pantry. The wonder herb I am talking about is mint, and it is amazing for skin. Mint can get rid of dark circles under the eyes, improve skin tone, and it feels refreshingly cool when it is applied.

So how do you use mint on the skin under your eyes?

Ingredients needed:
(trust me, this is simple, and you do not need exact measurements)

Mint (preferably fresh mint, but dried mint can work, too)
Water
A touch of honey

Tools needed:

Mixing bowl and a wooden spoon
Mortar and pestle (optional)
OR
A blender

BLENDER METHOD
Step 1:
If you are using fresh mint, make sure that you have gathered it from an area free of pesticides. Wash and dry the mint before adding it to the blender. If you are using dried mint, simply add it to the blender.

Step 2: Add a touch of water to the mint and blend on high. Next, add a few more drops of water and a few drops of honey until the mint under eye mixture starts to resemble a thick paste. That’s it!

Step 3: Depending on how much mint mixture you made, you may need to store the excess in a container for a few days. Make sure to package the mint under eye paste in a clean, dry container, and store it in a cool, dry, dark place – the refrigerator works well for storage, and makes the mint eye paste even more refreshing!

MIXING BOWL METHOD
Step 1: If you are using fresh mint, make sure that you have gathered it from an area free of pesticides. Wash and dry the mint before tearing it into very small pieces. You can also choose to mince the mint leaves before adding them to the bowl. Using a mortar and pestle is also a great option, and crushes the leaves into a very fine paste. That said, if you do not have a mortar and pestle, mincing or finely tearing the mint leaves works fine. If you are using dried mint, simply add it to the bowl (or mortar and pestle) straight from the jar.

Step 2: Add a splash of water, a few drops of honey, and stir well. The finished mint under eye mixture should resemble a thick paste.

Step 3: Depending on the amount of mint under eye paste mixture you have, you may need to store the excess in a container for a few days. Make sure to package the mint under eye paste in a clean, dry container, and store it in a cool, dry, dark place – the refrigerator works well for storage, and makes the mint eye paste extra refreshing!

Using the mint under eye paste:

To apply the mint under eye paste, simply take a small amount, smooth it on under your eyes (taking care to avoid your eyes), and relax for about 20-30 minutes while the paste works its magic. Rinse with warm water, pat skin dry, and admire your beautiful new eye skin. Over time, this paste will work even greater wonders. Enjoy!
