Fun Free App Ideas for Your iPod Touch

If you’ve just bought or received a brand new iPod Touch, you’re probably overwhelmed at this point over the many free app options out there. Having a hard time deciding on which feature to download first? First, allow me to share some important information with you before you start clicking away. While many of the companies offering these apps claim that they are “free” of charge, this isn’t the whole truth. Once a free app is downloaded, you have about one or two minutes to enjoy these games or whatever it is you’ve downloaded. Then, you must decide in the few short minutes of free play time that you were lucky enough to get, whether or not it’s worth purchasing with your money.

So, you’ve stumbled upon this article hoping to find an answer in the midst of pure uncertainty. Don’t waste your time by downloading something, only to find a problem with it later and having to delete it right afterwards. Now, I will list some really cool fun apps for you that I’ve found are free just as promised. This way you can get the greatest experience out of the amazing piece of technology that you could possibly get.

One of my favorite apps for the iPod touch is StarMaker. It’s an awesome karaoke feature that allows you to have fun while doing something beneficial for yourself. Sing your heart out to your favorite songs of today and yesterday and learn how you can improve yourself as a singer. Follow along with the bars on the screen as the program grades your ability to keep the pitch. What’s cool about this app feature is that It contains a wide variety of songs priced with tokens rather than with money. Once you get to level 3, you need to attain a certain score before earning more tokens. This leaves room for an interesting challenge and a great deal of practice on an individual song until you have earned enough tokens to purchase another song. I highly recommend StarMaker because it’s free and it is a true star maker!

Another fun app to try is Sky Burger. This game is a blast but it can be a little tricky so watch out. Here’s how it works. At the top of the screen, it shows what items are needed to make the order complete and accurate. For example, a sandwich might call for two burgers, three sets of tomatoes, and four sets of onions. As the items are falling down, you need to turn the screen as necessary in order to catch the food items on your bun while avoiding those other foods, like pickles, that aren’t a part of the order. It may seem repetitive but the burgers keep changing and you will find it interesting to note the many different combinations they are able to come up with. Now who would eat a burger without a burger on it? In Sky Burger, anything goes!

Recently, I discovered Pocket Chef due to my interest in cooking as a hobby. Simply flip burgers and check to see if they’re done. Once they look finished, take them out of the grill before they burn because they will turn black if you don’t! Even though I’m in the very early stages of the game, it seems as though it has a lot of recipes to choose from. Also, the creators of Pocket Chef have designed the game to be both intriguing and educational at the same time. Ready to become the best chef in cyber world? Here’s your chance!

These features are my top three free interactive apps that I have found so far for the iPod touch that really give you a lot of entertainment at no cost at all. Good luck and I hope your experiences with these is as good as mine has been so far.
