Fresca, Noveau Peruvian Cuisine

Spending a lot of time in the city means a lot of great food to try! Fresca definitely needs to make your list of to do. This area, Pacific Heights, is filled with a ton of restaurants, from big to small, and shopping.

Fresca, noveau Pervuvian cuisine, is delicious! From ceviche to meat dishes, you will find something that you love.

The staff is pleasant and does not over kill you with sweetness. It’s a good mix of attentive and free to explore.

Food is fresh every time I have come here. I definitely got the feeling that shipments are frequent and food has a high turn over rate as everything that I saw looked like it was in its prime.

My first experience at this establishment was with a group of 8 people. Everyone had ordered something different and each dish had a beautiful presentation and a look of supreme freshness. Each person had raved about their dish so I would, personally, have no qualms about ordering anything on this menu.

On my first experience, I had ordered Ceviche 5 Elementos (local halibut, red onion, rocoto pepper, lime juice sea salt, andean corn) which was certainly a proper choice. The crunch of the corn was the perfect balance to the citrus dish.

Order a side of Platanos chips. They make a great complement to any dish.

Both types of oysters,, on the half shell, blue point and marin miyagi are worth having, YUM! The oysters are served with sides of pisco ponzu mignonette and cocktail sauce.

Tacos de Pescado (plantain crusted pacific cod, chipotle remoulade, avocado salsa, pickled cabbage) are probably my favorite dish, WOW! Which is saying a lot as fish is not exactly one of my favorite foods.

If you are ordering ceviche, I would suggest you order something on the side as the portion may leave you still hungry. Any other dish that I have ordered has been plentiful in size but not so much that I couldn’t finish it.

Every time I have gone into or walked by Fresca, the place has been busy. I have gone in for lunch at normal times and for later lunch times. However, even during the peak times, the food has been ordered and delivered to the table in a reasonable amount of time.

Pricing is absolutely on the reasonable end for this area and the quality that you are getting make the price easier to swallow. The average dish will cost you around $12 at lunch.

The seating area is decent but not large.
