CSI: New York star Hill Harper visited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis to play Jenga with patients Luis and Courtney. The actor, who portrays Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on the hit CBS crime drama, also toured the hospital. Harper’s visit helped kick off America’s leading pediatric treatment and research facility’s annual Thanks and Giving campaign last week.
The campaign asks Americans to support the lifesaving treatment for children battling cancer and other deadly diseases. People interested in helping can donate money at St. Jude’s official website.
Hill is known for donating his time to St. Jude, and for recording a special radio message to support the nonprofit medical corporation. The message can be heard on 200 stations nationwide.
