Creative Ways to Decorate with Glass Bell Jar Domes

Bell jar domes are lovely, even before anything is ever placed beneath the artfully crafted glass. They are similar to terrariums, but they are far more versatile. The bell design beautifully highlights and protects the treasures beneath. They can be used to decorate a home with fragile decor, photos and more.

I have two glass bell jar domes, and one is a little smaller than the other. I used them to decorate my living room with a unique display that included faux butterflies, driftwood, a handcrafted hummingbird’s nest and several polished gemstones. They were great conversation pieces, and they decorated the center of my buffet beautifully. I have used the glass bell jar domes to decorate my home in many other creative ways. The possibilities are endless.

Framed Photos Under Glass

Do you have small framed photos on display? Glass bell jar domes provide the ideal way to decorate with tabletop photos. To beautifully highlight small framed photos, arrange them under glass. Intricate frames will be protected from dust, and they will become the feature of a tabletop or shelf.

Use Glass Bell Jar Domes to Display Particularly Detailed Collectables

Particularly detailed collectibles can be difficult to clean. Dust and grime becomes embedded in fine crevices, and cleaning becomes an arduous chore. Glass bell jar domes will keep collectibles clean while providing a unique method of display. Use them to decorate a shelf, a side table or any horizontal space that can safely hold embellishments.

Decorate Using Glass Bell Jar Domes and Ocean Treasures

Seashells, beach glass and other ocean treasures can be used to decorate a foyer, a bathroom, a bedroom or any appropriate space. They look exceptionally lovely under glass. Consider lining the bases of two bell jar domes with dried seaweed. Bell jar domes of varying sizes look gorgeous side by side. Top the seaweed with arrangements of eye catching shells and colorful bits of glass that have been naturally polished by sand and waves. If space allows, add small pieces of driftwood to the arrangements.

Decorate the Kitchen Countertop with Eye Catching Desserts Under Glass

Some desserts look almost too good to eat, and they can be used to decorate a kitchen countertop, a buffet or the center of a dining table. Food can be beautiful! Use glass bell jar domes to display a colorful over-sized cupcake, a gingerbread house, a panoramic sugar egg or something else altogether. It can decorate a kitchen, dining room or a table at a special celebration, and it can look absolutely stunning under glass.
