All the news media talk about this "new" swine flu being part human part bird and part pig is hype and based on sheer speculation (it's more a theory why it may be possible for swine flu to be tramsitted human to human). For all anyone knows, for the past several years the same circumstance existed and went undetected because the symptoms for swine flu are no different than any other influenza. Plus, it could very well be that human immunity to swine flu has gone down in the general public for many different reasons (e.g., stress). Remember the great threat humans were supposedly facing when there was that great "bird flu" outbreak? Really, what do you think poses a greater threat: the panic induced by out alarmist news media or swine flu?

- A: I was just watching the news... and it's really bad... the numbers are spreading as we sit and read this information. The worst can be seen in Mexico where they had to close down workplaces and schools. But they are hypothesizing that as it spreads the virus is getting weaker and not replicating as much. So if you live in Mexico - it's bad but other parts not so bad.

- A: Ok well in the text it says that it is POSSIBLE that 30 or 20% of the population will get it but that doesn't mean that it WILL happen. Don't freak out just wash your hands often and stay away from sick people and you will survive this so called "Apocalypse"
