- I was told by the nurse that it can take up to 24 to 48hrs. If it comes back as A then it gets sent to the Health Dept for more testing. If it comes back B then I don't have it.

- A: I think if he's acting better each day, there's no reason to take him back to the doctor. My husband, myself, and our two year old daughter just had h1n1 in september. We were all given tamiflu, so we all recovered in a few days. Our daughters pediatrician said that if she starts to feel better, fever breaks, and then starts feeling worse again and fever is back to bring her in immediately because this can be a sign of pneumonia or other secondary bacterial infection. So as long as he keeps improving, I wouldn't worry.
