Week Two NFL Power Rankings, Chicago Bears Edition

Here are the Week Two Bears power rankings from various sites around the web:

ESPN: # 7 (Last week: #13)

Analysis, “Jay Cutler quickly got over playoff controversy with 300-plus yards, two TDs and a big win over Atlanta.”

Fox Sports: #10 (Last week: #12)

Analysis, “I refuse to believe the Falcons are as bad as they looked on Sunday. Therefore, the Bears must be that good. Cutler and the Bears’ offense will still have their doubters, but they have a lot less ammunition after their Week 1 performance.”

CBS Sports: #8 (Last week: #16)

Analysis, “Step-back team? That’s what many of us were saying before the season. The big victory over Atlanta must make us re-think that.”

Walter Football: #5 (Last week: #12)

Analysis, “The Bears have great defense and special teams, and an outstanding play-maker in Matt Forte. They’re a really solid team that could easily contend for the Super Bowl. But since everyone keeps underrating them – I made that mistake last year – I plan on betting on them quite often this season.”

Pro Football Talk: #7 (Last week: #12)

Analysis, “Maybe some of the Bears defenders should play both ways.”
