The match began with Wade Barrett landing a series of blows, and then he put Bryan in a headlock. Wade landed a shoulder block, and Bryan responded with a knee (Kitchen Sink) to Wade’s gut as he came off the ropes. Daniel Bryan landed two European Uppercuts and twisted Wade arm around in a circle few times. Wade escaped Bryan’s maneuver by landing a right hand to Bryan’s face. Wade attempted a pinfall, but Bryan kicked out at one.
After the pinfall attempt, Wade put Bryan in an armlock, but Bryan got out of the armlock, and landed a standing dropkick. Bryan put Wade in another grounded armlock, and the ref began to count because Wade’s shoulders were down. Wade kicked out at two, got out of the submission and Bryan landed another dropkick on Wade. Daniel attempted a pinfall, but Wade kicked out at two.
Wade began to comeback with a series of blows, but Bryan responded with the maneuver known as the Dragon Screw. After the Dragon Screw, Daniel Bryan landed a High Dropkick to Barrett, who was resting in a corner. Daniel attempted a pinfall, but Wade kicked out at two. Daniel Bryan attempted the Surfboard Submission, but Wade was able to keep his body ground. So Bryan stomped on Wade’s quadriceps instead, and Barrett cried out in pain afterwards.
Daniel Bryan bounced off the ropes and landed a huge kick to the grounded Barrett in the chest, and Bryan attempted to pin Wade once again. Wade Barrett kicked out and rested in a corner. Bryan landed two European Uppercuts on Wade Barrett and tried to Irish Whip Barrett to another corner of the ring. Wade countered and Irish Whipped Bryan to a corner instead. Bryan did his well known back flip as came towards the turnbuckle. Bryan bounced of the ropes for the clothesline that usually comes after him flipping off the turnbuckle, instead Wade hit Bryan with an impressive Side Walk Slam. Wade attempted a pinfall, but Bryan kicked out.
Wade began to land a series of punches and kicks to the grounded Bryan after the pinfall attempt. Wade picked up Daniel Bryan and bounced him off the ropes, and use the momentum to land a unique backbreaker. Wade attempted a pinfall, but Bryan kicked out. Next, Wade Barrett put Bryan in a Camel Clutch as the crowd cheered Bryan on. Bryan got out of the maneuver and bounced off the ropes to land his well known aerial clothesline. Bryan picked up Wade and landed two European Uppercuts and bounced off the ropes again. This time Wade Barrett greeted Bryan with an aerial forearm attack. Wade attempted a pinfall, but Bryan kicked out.
Wade Barrett put Bryan against the ropes and put his left leg on tops of Bryan. Then he turned him around and began to land knee lifts (like the UFC) to Bryan. Bryan was lying on the ropes and Wade knocked out the ring with a huge Big Boot to the face. Wade drew heat from the crowd and quickly threw Bryan back in the ring. Wade attempted a pinfall, but Bryan kicked out. Wade put Bryan in a grounded headlock, and the crowd began to cheer for Bryan once again.
Bryan got out of the headlock and began to land a series of kicks. Wade responded by trying to throw Bryan out of the ring, but Bryan managed to stay on the apron. Wade tried to land a Big Boot to Bryan while he was on the apron, but Bryan pulled down the ropes, and the ropes landed on Wade’s groin area.
Both guys were battling on the ring apron, and Wade tried to go for the Wasteland off the ring apron. Bryan got out of the maneuver and got back into the ring. Wade was still on the apron and was dropkicked to the black barricade by Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan jumped off the ring apron and landed a huge knee to Wade Barrett who was outside the ring. Bryan placed Wade Barrett back inside the ring and landed the Missile Dropkick off the top rope. Wade Barrett kicked out at two after Bryan tried to pin him.
Wade Barrett got up and landed a huge kick to gut of Daniel Bryan. Barrett attempted the Pumphandle Slam, but Bryan countered it with a series of kicks all over Barrett’s body. He ended the series of kicks with a vicious kick to the head of Wade Barrett. Wade Barrett kicked out at two after Bryan tried to pin him. Wade Barrett came back with a huge big boot to Daniel Bryan. Wade tried to end the match with the Wasteland, Bryan countered with a Guillotine Choke. Then Bryan put Wade in the Lebell Lock, but Wade was able to get to the ropes.
Bryan landed more kicks and lifted Wade to the top turnbuckle. Bryan tried to land a Hurricanarana, but pushed him off the top turnbuckle, and Bryan’s groin area landed on the ropes. Bryan was still sitting on top of the ropes and Wade landed an effective clothesline from the top rope. Wade won the match with the Wasteland finisher.
