D.Z. Akins – I remember when D.Z. Akins first opened in the SDSU college area in 1980. Since that time, D.Z. Akins has featured kosher-style, deli foods and sandwiches. The menu includes a wide variety of foods: specialty salads, lox, cheese blintzes, borscht, bread pudding, potato knishes, chopped liver, sodas, malts, shakes, pastries, and cheesecakes. You are certain to enjoy a delicious Valentine’s Day dining experience.

Milton’s of Del Mar highlights kosher style, catering, and dining, and specializes in baked goods. Milton’s delicious homemade soups draw diners from around the county. We are amazed by their menu which features vast deli-style selections which include fresh foods served in generous portions. Situated in beautiful Del Mar, just off the I-5 freeway, north of San Diego, at the Via de la Valle exit.

La Café, located in the University City area is one of the newest and truly kosher delis in San Diego County. Opened in 2010, La Café specializes in Greek and Israeli style dairy and vegetarian meals, with pizza being a featured (and delicious) menu item. The café-style bagels, coffee, salads, soups, and pastries are certain to please everyone. Our personal favorites are the fresh fish dishes, Caesar salad, and the egg shakshouka! In addition, La Café will deliver and they provide outdoor seating in a Mediterranean style atmosphere.
