Three Great Free Fall Table Runner Patterns

October is here, I have most all of my Halloween decorations completed, and now it is the time to turn to Fall decorations. I want to have my Fall decorations ready to go on November 1st when I take my Halloween decorations down, so I am ready to get started. One of the main things that I want to make is a Fall themed table runner. There are a ton of Fall themed table runners that are available for free online, now the only hard part is deciding which one to make. Here are three of my favorite Fall themed table runner tutorials.

Crochet N More: Thanksgiving Table Runner

Ravelry member dancinglawn used a crocheted table runner pattern created by Lisa at Crochet N More to create a Thanksgiving Table Runner. She used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn stripes yarn in a fall color scheme to make the table runner. I love the simplicity of this table runner, the colors give the fall look to it, and it should be very easy to crochet.

You can find the table runner that dancinglawn made by visiting Ravelry (you will have to sign up for a free account to view it) and then hop on over to Crochet N More to view Lisa’s pattern.

Make It and Love It: Autumn Table Runner/Mat

Ashley at Make It and Love It created a very easy to make Autumn Table Runner/Mat that I am in love with. Ashley cut a piece of vinyl material and then sewed silk leaves around the edges. Easy peasy! This table runner only takes basic sewing skills, so even someone just learning how to sew could make it, and since you are using vinyl there is no need for hemming.

Fave Crafts: Leaves Table Runner

Fawnda Norman, who normally blogs at Fireflies and Jellybeans, shares a tutorial for making a Fall Leaves Table Runner on the website Fave Crafts. Fawnda’s table runner is made using fleece or felt, from which leaves are cut out, after you cut the leaves out you just sew them together. Like Ashley’s table runner, Fawnda’s table runner only takes basic sewing skills to create it, so it would be a great project for someone just learning how to sew.
