This is the road I’m taking, long way to go. Struggling to survive, no glory road. This burden on my shoulders is weighing me down, believe it or not, I cannot let it weigh me down. Missing precious moments in a blink of an eye. Writing down my goals as I try to soar high. It’s not failure that hurts, but failing to try. Pursuit of happiness is not gone, it’s staring you in the eyes. As I wait my turn, I know my time will come. Not afraid to commit, I dare to risk; lose something, gain something. Looking for no rewards, success will come. Don’t blame bad choices, blame ourselves. Sometimes we give up just to revibe ourselves. Second coming, new beginning as Juelz puts it. Spreading my wings, trying to take flight. Life is a bully who I tend to fight. Smacking me up and down like Ike on Tina,but when this journey is over, I close the book. I extinguished the past just to spark the future. Reminiscing on the past, I know it gets you, I don’t miss you, but embrace you.
