The trees have saved their brightest garb
for the days of autumn
Decked out in golds and stunning reds
yellow greens and subtle browns
One by one they shed their leaves
some twirl through the air with the wind
others make a swift descent to the grassy ground
making a crunchy, fluffy playground
Autumn days are sometimes cold
but the colors warm
