With a J. Mendel strapless greyish white gown, young songwriter Taylor Swift won for the second time Entertainment of the Year. After her Speak Now tour, in which she sold out arenas in minutes; releasing her second album “Speak Now”, and even making her own fragrance, “Wonderstruck”, Swift has finally been rewarded for this busy year.
Swift performed her new and sixth single of her album “Speak Now”, “Ours”. Although she didn’t win any other awards, when it came to Entertainment of the year, Swift was chosen over Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton. When she was called to stage, Swift was totally freaking out, her speech was passionate and of course, she focused on thanking the fans “This is thanks to all the fans who filled the stadiums and arenas all over the world this year,” said Swift, who leaped from her seat with her hands in the air and jumped for joy. “I am so happy we had so many to play for this year. You have made my year.”.
And who else did Swift want to thank in her acceptance speech? All the artists who came up and sang with her in her concerts, Tim McGraw, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Hayley Williams among others. Before the awards she wrote all the names on her arm, so she wouldn’t forget it if she got the award, and took a picture of her arm next to her new adorable kitty, Meredith.
Swift noticed on the show’s production schedule that the top trophy would be presented in segment 13, her lucky number! Although at the CMA’s backstage Swift confessed “I just didn’t want to think about it. You don’t want to have high hopes about something that big and that cool. To win it twice is like the coolest thing that ever happened to me, happening twice. I’m freaking out right now.”, according to The Tennessean .
And as if winning this big award wasn’t enough, Swift is already planning on her next album – and next tour!. She has said, according to Taste of Country , that she’s really excited about this album because she’s been writing a lot during this year. So, do you think this will be Swift’s best album
