Specifications of the Mercedes Benz E-Class 320

The Mercedes-Benz E class is a series of executive cars that has been in production since 1993. The model number in this series indicates the size of the engine such that the E320 has a 3.2-liter engine. The Mercedes E320 was available from 1993 to 2009.

Overview

The Mercedes Benz E320 was available as a four-door sedan and a five-door station wagon. The engine was in the front of the vehicle and was mated to a five-speed or seven-speed automatic transmission. The standard drive option for the E320 was front-wheel drive with an option for four-wheel drive.

W124

The W124 designation was used for models of the Mercedes Benz E class made from 1993 to 1996. This version of the E320 had a six-cylinder engine with a double overhead cam. It produced 220 hp at 5,500 rpm and generated 229 ft-lb of torque at 3,750 rpm.

W210

The W210 series of the E class was in production from 1996 to 2002. The M104 engine produced 217 hp for the E320 made in the United States from 1996 to 1997. This engine was replaced by the M112, which used slightly higher tuning to produce 221 hp.

W211

The Mercedes-Benz W211 series was in production from 2003 to 2009. The E320 in this series had three different engines. Models made from 2003 to 2005 produced 201 hp and 370 ft-lb of torque. Models made from 2006 to 2009 had a 3.0-liter engine that produced 210 hp or 221 hp, depending on tuning.
