Some day I’ll have the life I want,
Some day I’ll be content.
Some day I’ll travel far and wide,
A new life I’ll invent.
Some day I’ll have a cozy home,
Some day I’ll be ambitious.
Some day I won’t have to dust,
Or even do the dishes.
Some day I’ll wake and look around,
And wonder why I spent,
So many years at working hard,
Those years I do resent.
