It must be winter – the time of year,
When Burpee catalogs do appear.
The catalog always brings, I find,
Lots to see for re-design.
Last summer’s garden is very nice,
I’ll bet I can re-do it twice.
And come up with new ideas,
For me to ponder the winter of this year.
When April rains come down on me,
I relax inside and try to see,
The seedlings coming through the soil,
I hope the rain won’t let them spoil.
