Pizza & Chicken Love Letter Review

I found Pizza & Chicken Love Letter on yelp. The sweet potato pizza sounded amazing so we came here on a Friday night around 5:30. Pretty empty which wasn’t surprising since it was so early.

The service —
The service was so-so.. There was only one server so when we were ordering she stopped us right in the middle to sit some people that came in and then came back to finish up the order. The food came out pretty fast and the server came to check on us a couple of times. However, we were sitting for a while after we were done eating so we had to go ask for boxes and our check.

The food —
We got the combo with a medium pizza, wings and substituted the 2 liter soda for a pitcher of Hite. The combo said it could feed 3 people which sounds about right since there were only two of us and we had quite a bit leftover.
Sweet Potato Pizza — Sooooo delicious!! It had sausage, ham, veggies and, of course, sweet potato. I highly recommend this. Although I regret not getting the gold crust which has a sweet potato mousse inside.
Garlic Wings — We asked the server how spicy the wings were and she said that spicy was too spicy for her so we got medium. It wasn’t spicy at all. The sauce tasted like sweet chili sauce which gave the wings an Asian feel. They were okay. Nothing special. I think next time I’ll go for the boneless wings.

The Atmosphere —
The atmosphere was pretty relaxed and laid back. They were playing country music which was somewhat odd seeing as how this is a Korean restaurant. But I like country so it didn’t bother me. Good place to go either with friends or on a date.

Prices —
I think our bill came out to somewhere around $30-35.. Not bad for a basket of wings, a pizza and a pitcher of beer.

Overall, I would definitely go back for the pizza. I want to try the Bulgogi Pizza next. And also maybe try the boneless wings with a different flavor or maybe get spicy next time. Good atmosphere, good food, good beer.
