As someone who ministers to many across this vast world of ours, I got to thinking about how many I leave out of what I write. Being Hispanic, and now having written and published books for the last three years, I decided that I needed to do much more than just publish my books in one language. When I was young, I took spanish classes, and as you guess it, I passed them pretty easily. I also took french, and german. The french and german languages I am a bit rusty on but it got me to wondering about writing this article to all those who read my articles from other lands. To express, that which I have learned matters a lot to the one we call Jesus Christ. His two commandments are well known to many of different lands and faiths but they were not acceptable print. Later I will try to put it through in HTML.
Though we speak differently, the words are the same, and though we live in different place throughout this planet, we are much the same. A few of those languages have been mentioned here and you can read in your own native tongue at home, that his love is universal and so is faith. We can believe in whatever way we choose, but there is still one creator, and one heaven and it’s not all in one language “there,” just like it isn’t here. When we choose to accept each other for what and who we are without prejudice, maybe then the world may find PEACE…… I tried to put in the verses below in many various languages, but they would not go through on the transfer, but am sure everyone gets the point.
I end it with what I intended this article to be, which was to tell everyone in “their” language what is written below in English ;
Jesus said unto him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart: and with all thy soul: and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
