I only found out that National Coffee Day existed last night when I saw an ad for Krispy Kreme who is giving away free coffee all day today, September 29th. I then came across a similar ad for 7-eleven. I happened to make it to 7-eleven earlier today and was reminded about the free coffee by an employee there. The cashier did mention, however, that they were only giving away free coffee until 11am. I believe Krispy Kreme is giving away free coffee all day. Another place that is taking part in National Coffee Day is Thornton. They are also giving away free hot chocolate for those who are not coffee drinkers and free cappuccinos. There’s last until 2pm so depending on where you live, you are still able to make it. Facebook fans of Kikkoman can also get a free container of Kikkoman Pearl Organic Soymilk Coffee.
I am not usually a coffee drinker and my coffee had more hazelnut in it than it actually had coffee but I figured I would drink some coffee in celebration of the event.
