In celebration of the George Robert White Environmental Conservation Center’s 9th anniversary, the Boston Nature Center presents the Rockin’ with Raptors Festival. The afternoon will feature free programs and activities for adults and children alike, including live music entertainment, free food, raffles, arts and crafts, face painting, trail hikes, a petting zoo, museum exhibits, and educational programs featuring live raptors. The 6th Annual Fluff Festival, aka “What the Fluff”, will celebrate the invention of Marshmallow Fluff, which was created in Union Square in 1917 by Archibald Query. Along with multiple opportunities to taste a very wide range of creative fluff concoctions, the event will offer live musical entertainment, a fluff cooking contest, activities for kids, and more. In case of rain, the “What the Fluff” festival will be rescheduled for Sunday, September 25th.

The Boloco Block Party will take place alongside the Boston Hub on Wheels Citiwide Ride, a community bike ride through throughout and around Boston neighborhoods, historical sites and along Storrow Drive, which will be closed off to cars. The TDBank Mayor’s Cup Cycling Race will also occur as part of this group of events. The Block Party will be centralized around Boston’s City Hall Plaza and will feature bike demonstrations, live entertainment, food, a beer garden, and activities for kids.
