Needlework and embroidery enthusiasts will enjoy this project. Proudly display a favorite embroidery hoop and use it as a message board for your children, spouse or significant other. The project is very simple and takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
Things You’ll Need:
12-inch or larger embroidery hoop
Cork sheeting
Foam-core board
Pencil
Craft knife
Scissors
Instructions:
Step 1 – Remove the inner circle from the embroidery hoop. Place the inner circle on the surface of the cork sheeting. Trace around the inside of the embroidery hoop. Repeat the same process on the foam board.
Step 2 – Cut the circle from the cork sheet and the foam board. Press the two pieces inside the inner circle of the embroider hoop.
Step 3 – Cover the inner embroidery hoop ring with fabric. Place the outside ring on the hoop and tighten.
Step 4 – Cut the excess fabric from the hoop.
Hang the completed embroidery hoop cork board in the desired location.
