Bears Vs Saints: Las Vegas Line and Pick Against the Spread

The New Orleans Saints host the Chicago Bears September 18 in a game that is important for both teams NFL Playoffs future. It may sound silly to say this game has playoff implications in the second week of the season but it is true.

The Saints struggled in the red zone against the Green Bay Packers on opening night and it will be a focus against a tough Chicago Bears defense that held another NFC South opponent, the Atlanta Falcons, to 12 points.

Chicago Bears Defense vs New Orleans Saints Offense

The Chicago Bears defense will face their second high-powered offense in two weeks. The Bears pounded the Atlanta Falcons offense and they bottled up their best receivers but they still gave up 276 yards through the air.

Drew Brees will have a big day against this defense despite what many Chicago Bears fans believe. Brees is in mid-season form and his receivers will have their way with a weak Chicago Bears secondary.

Do not forget the New Orleans Saints posted the third best passing numbers in the NFL and Darren Sproles looked great in Saints colors for his debut. The Saints have the edge over the Bears defense.

New Orleans Defense vs Chicago Bears Offense

The Saints defense did not impress in their first game of the season but they did face Aaron Rodgers and the defending Super Bowl champs on their home turf of Lambeau Field. The Saints gave up more than 100 yards on the ground and they also gave up almost 300 yards through the air.

Jay Cutler is back in the good graces of Chicago Bears fans for now. Cutler put together a solid performance for his first game and all looks forgiven. The Bears were also helped by an incredible performance by Matt Forte. Forte did the same thing last season and in week two he was dead in the water. The Saints defense will shut down Cutler and Forte.

Chicago Bears vs New Orleans Saints -7: Pick Against the Spread and Breakdown

The Las Vegas Hilton Superbook posted the New Orleans Saints as a seven-point favorite over the Chicago Bears fans and the public will undoubtedly bet the number down before Sunday. The Bears are a public team so the number usually reflects the Bears fan support.

The Saints return home for their first home game and they will meet up with a Chicago Bears team looking to take the NFC North lead. The Bears defense will fold under the pressure against the Saints offense and Brees. Take the Saints +7 and expect them to double the spread and win this game by 14 points.
