5 Reasons Why America Needs a Ron Paul Presidency

The choice for President in 2012 is a tough one. Do you vote for Barak Obama, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, or another person? If you are on the fence regarding your vote for the President in 2012, allow these five reasons guide your choice toward Ron Paul.

1. Gold Standard – The gold standard pegs the price a unit of value such as the ‘dollar’ to gold. Since the Bretton Woods agreement in 1971, America has officially been off the gold standard, which has allowed currency manipulation and inflation. Ron Paul urges honest weights and measures through the gold standard. In addition, he suggests competing currencies, which would offer an alternative to our current fiat or paper money. Furthermore, he wants a full audit of the Federal Reserve and hopefully to close the secretive and out of control institution. 2. Non-Intervention in worlds affairs – America needs to address issues at home first before intervening in the world’s affairs. However, if America needs to intervene, Ron Paul’s stance is clear – a sensible foreign policy, avoid long and expensive wars, which bankrupt our country, end the nation-building philosophy that has captivated Washington, and Congress must declare war with a clear plan. Many believe that Ron Paul is an isolationist; however, his record of accomplishment in Congress proves that he is far from one. 3. Advocate for Personal and Civil Liberties – Our personal liberties are under attack since 9/11 with the passing of the Patriot Act. Ron Paul wants to repeal this government violation of our civil liberties because God gives each person unalienable rights and it is not fitting to sacrifice liberty for security. 4. Austrian Economist – The most efficient organizing economic activity is allowing the free market to dictate prices. Because individuals know the value of what they want, free market prices should reflect everyone’s preferences accordingly. Because no government can know better than the market, Ron Paul wants as little government intervention as possible. 5. He is electable – Ron Paul is planting the seeds of freedom among the younger generation of today. Freedom resonates with all people and that is why many come to hear him speak. Abraham Lincoln won the 1860 election after at least five previous election defeats. Ron Paul has perseverance, determination and a large following which is going unnoticed by the mainstream media.

America will be great once again with a Ron Paul presidency.
