Yes! I'm a writer; I stay on the computer nine hours a day. First, go to your computer's menu and adjust the brightness. Turn it from 100 percent to like 10 percent. You'll feel better already. (On my menu, the brightness symbol is a sun). Then get a shield for your screen (you can find them at most computer stores). The reason your eyes get sore while on the computer is it's so bright, and you're staring at it so long, your body forgets to blink. Get in the habit of blinking every ten seconds, and every twenty minues (or more often) look away from the screen, at something across the room. Focus your eyes on that thing (the smaller the better). This helps. If none of this works, wear sunglasses, or get an eyedoctor to give you some "computer glasses"- basically reading glasses with brightness shield.Also- you want to be looking down about twelve inches at your screen; you don't want to be cutting your eyes up or down a lot- that hurts them. It has nothing to do with the screen. Brightness is what makes your eyes hurt, so turn on all the lights around you, never type in the dark. And if you can get the letters bigger on your screen (under the view key), try that. no they don't works.but u can have a rest every hour and do not make ur room too light or too dark when u r useing a computer get a bigger screen there not much now, even on ebay, or as the other guy says take longer breaks , and look away from it, many timesalso close ur eyes sometimes inbetween sessions it helps ur eyes
